...my spice rack! Hello?
Like most people, I use a lot of different spices when I cook, so there are always things coming in and going out of rotation. I love trying new flavors with new foods and mixing it up. What are my current favorites right now? Here are three...
Oregano is so delicious in eggs, tofu scramble and pasta...I love to put in SO many things.
Fennel pollen has that faint whisper of fennel, anise or licorice, but also a delightful earthiness. I like to put a little in salad dressings, tomato sauces and just a tiny bit on fresh vegetable. Amazing.
Coriander is so warming. Of course, I love to include it in my pickling spice, especially with orange peel, but also in soups and stews...
What are your favorites? What else do I keep in there?
Lots of small bowls for prepping spices...
Other little vessels...
Small salt pigs...
Mortar and pestle...

The Pantry Gods...originally, it was just Plastic Kachina God who ruled the pantry, but he started dated Repoussé Lakshmi and eventually they got married then welcomed their son, Glow-in-the-dark Saint Martin of Porres into their lives.
